This is a little bit of old news, but I wanted to post that Wyatt really did graduate from preschool on June 4! I can't believe he will be in kindergarten! I don't think he knows how much Scotty and I will miss him in August when he goes to kindergarten! He is one awesome kid! His "big kid" in the picture with him is Dale, his favorite teacher. Wyatt hated when he had to walk up with one of the girls. The minute he saw Dale, he had a best friend. I'll have to type up the speech Dale gave about Wyatt at graduation. It was so sweet and sincere. Dale also had to evaluate Wyatt as part of his child development class and was impressed that Wyatt could do pretty much everything he was asked, like cleaning up, washing hands after going potty, good manners, etc.. The only thing he couldn't do was tie his shoes! I told Wyatt that we'd get him a pair of shoes that he could learn to tie. He informed that he already had some, his Sunday shoes!
Wyatt is a pure joy. Everyday he makes me laugh and smile. He loves to do math. He loves to be read to. He also loves to create and can entertain himself with puzzles, putting in his own movies, playing in the sand box or building forts! The other day we were walking home from taking the girls to school and Wyatt was all snuggled under a blanket in the back of our double stroller. He usually gets out and gets some honeysuckles to suck on or walk on this one wall. On this particular day, Scotty got out and Wyatt says to me, " I don't want to get out. I just want to stay right here under this warm blanket!" Wyatt, I love you!
